To help keep our church family connected and moving forward together during this unique season we are excited to launch FreedomLife.Online.

One of the concerns with simply live streaming or pre-recording messages is how do we combat the trap of becoming a Christian consumer. We all know how easy it is to spend hours just scrolling through endless noise on social media that presents itself as a tool to help you better ‘connect’ but all the while it actually does the opposite.

So the challenge for us is how do we stay connected as Freedom Life community. The solution we have arrived at is by utilising an online platform called “Zoom”. This application is built for online video conferencing, which will allow us to safely hold our group meetings from our homes without losing the interactivity when simply live streaming a service.

The application allows us to hold meetings with up to 100 connected users at the same time. You can connect to the meetings using your laptop, iPad/tablet, or smartphone. Once in the meeting you can choose to display video of yourself or just the audio, so everyone in the meeting can both see and hear you. There is also the ability to use the ‘chat’ box function to type messages or share links with everyone or just a selected member in the meeting.

With this new tool we will be able to continue our Sunday morning meetings and our Wednesday night meetings, as well as allow you opportunity to have “unofficial” meetings with others in the church as and when you desire.
